August 2017 was probably a month to forget about here at Harley Towers! Sabiha Erkis arrived with her family from London for her Birthday treat for a tour the bike and we set off on a warm and sunny day with the forecast telling us it was going to be rain free. Not so! On the home leg along the A3 past Petersfield the heavens opened and we had hail, rain, the works! I had to stop and run for bus shelter. It didn’t dampen Sabiha’s enthusiasm one bit. Half an hour later we were back on our way in brilliant sunshine. That’s summer in the UK for you!
